- My husband and I enjoy learning how to be self sufficent. We have just started our farm which has proved to be a lot of work. We have ducks, have tons of chickens, baby poults 1 american bulldog, 35 meat chickens, and we are also working on a few breeding projects. We enjoy learning how to do all the chores required in farming but once again it is lots of work, and there is so much to learn to this. We also are in the process of starting our garden, if it will ever stop raining LOL!! We plan on in the near future trying to hatch out our own chickens for meat birds and also some heritage breeds. Stay tuned for a farm in the making...
